The Odyssey XF uses two NIR lasers, as well as LED and CCD with innovative FieldBrite™ technology for equal illumination across the entire imaging field. Not only will you get more accurate, consistent scans, but you’ll also see the Odyssey XF offers greater sensitivity and dynamic range than film and other CCD imagers. With it, you’ll get the best possible Western blots, chemiluminescent Western blots, nucleic acid gels, and fluorescent protein gels.

Image your near-infrared (NIR) and enhanced chemiluminescent (ECL) Western blots, detect multiple targets on the same blot with two-channel multiplex fluorescence, and document DNA gels without juggling multiple instruments.

Detect your chemiluminescent or NIR Western blots and quantify protein and DNA gels on the same imager. Document your agarose and PAGE gels stained with Ethidium Bromide, SYBR® Safe, SYBR Green I, and many other widely used DNA stains. The patented FieldBrite™ XT2 optics that power the Odyssey XF ensure you get the best image every time.

Capture uniform, low-background images that are not subjected to image correction. Because post-capture image manipulation isn’t required, the Odyssey XF always ensures superior data integrity.

Other digital imagers have been known to modify images after capture to correct for non-uniform image brightness or to artificially improve the exposure. However, our patented optics deliver uniform images every time with no post-capture image manipulation. With the Odyssey XF, you can always be confident you have the most accurate, replicable data.

Capture the true detail and complexity of your experimental data. With 6 logs of linear dynamic range, your results are more reliable, and near-infrared fluorescence delivers consistent signals that aren’t affected by time-dependent enzymatic reactions.

To see the whole picture, you need enough dynamic range to consistently document your strongest bands. This allows for accurate comparison within and between labs and experiments. With the Odyssey XF, you’ll capture all your Western blot data (weak and strong) in clear, low-background images every time without adjusting camera settings.
