Troubleshooting
Troubleshooting issues with LI-COR Cloud™ to solve problems related to the devices and groups online. This information is related to LI-COR Cloud™. You may also need to troubleshoot the IoE Module or sensors that are connected to the IoE Module.
IoE Module not visible on LI-COR Cloud™
If an IoE Module is not visible on LI-COR Cloud™, investigate issues with the module configuration or permissions.
-
Is the IoE Module powered on?
-
Be sure the module is powered on and has established the cellular connection.
-
Adequate cellular signal strength?
-
Be sure there is a strong cellular signal. If you are near the IoE Module, check the signal status on the IoE module. From the home screen, press right (
) and down (
) to view the status. You should see signal strength and the name of the cellular provider. Expect a signal strength between -50 dBm (strong signal) and -120 dBm (weak signal). Press Select to send a test data message to LI-COR Cloud™. If you see any message besides PASS, or if the signal strength is outside the expected range, contact LI-COR.
-
Is the IoE Module registered with LI-COR Cloud™?
-
Be sure to complete the steps in Adding the IoE-Enabled node to LI-COR Cloud™. If you've completed these steps and still cannot view the module, contact LI-COR.
-
Do you have permission to view the IoE Module on LI-COR Cloud™?
-
If you are attempting to access an IoE Module, be sure you are either the Administrator or a Member of the Group that includes the IoE Module. This is accomplished by Sharing a node (see Joining a group and Managing groups). If you want to join a group, contact the group administrator and ask them to extend an invitation.
Sensor is not visible or has an issue on LI-COR Cloud™
If the IoE Module is visible on LI-COR Cloud™ but a sensor on that module is not visible, investigate the IoE Module configuration.
-
Sensor not added to the IoE Module?
-
Each sensor on an IoE Module must be added manually using the SDI-12 setup assistant on the IoE Module.
-
Sensor error or issue?
-
For sensors with error reporting, any issues should be indicated by the Diagnostic Status. If the LI-710 indicates a status issue, you can decode it and determine the appropriate response.
