Summary of symbols
The software uses a grouping scheme for categorizing variables. Variables displayed in a Measurements grid or logged in a data file will be labeled with a group name and a display label. Some groups (e.g., Meas) are available all the time, and some (e.g., Aquatic) are available only in certain configurations, determined by the attached chamber, and the settings on the Start Up > Chamber Setup and/or Peripheral Setup pages.
While any of these variables can be displayed on the Measurements grid, most are not there by default. However, a simple way to see what groups are available and to check current values is Start Up > Data Dictionary.
What follows are tables for each of the approximately 40 defined groups. Each entry shows the Display Label (the name that appears on the interface, or in the log file), its units, a description, and the internal name. The latter is used to reference the variable from a background program (BP), for example.
