The LI-5405A is compatible with either 110 VAC (60 Hz) or 220 VAC (50 Hz). The unit will be labeled with the power requirements. Be sure to only connect it to a compatible power supply. The computer and gas analyzer are equipped with a universal power supply.

The LI-5405A is delivered with the LI-7815 CO₂/H₂O Trace Gas Analyzer. Menus in the interface present some other options. Contact LI-COR if you want to use a different gas analyzer or if you are using an older model with a different gas analyzer.

Each instrument includes a personal computer that should be dedicated to the operation of the device. The computer should not be used for other purposes. Other computers may not work with the LI-5400A because they do not have the required libraries and applications to support the LI-5405A.
