Frequently Asked Questions
What power supply is needed for the LI-5300A and LI-5350A?
Both DIC systems are compatible with 100 to 240 VAC, 50 or 60 Hz. Each component includes a universal power adapter that is compatible with AC power in all regions.
What is sample volume is required for the DIC system?
The LI-5300A can measure sample volumes between 0.2 and 1.8 mL per measurement. The LI-5350A can measure volume between 0.5 to 4 mL per measurement. With care and some minor modifications to the tubing, you can measure volumes of 0.5 mL or less. Contact LI-COR if you want to measure small sample volumes.
What carrier gas is required?
Both the LI-5300A and LI-5350A can use a tank of CO2-free compressed air. Alternatively, the LI-5350A can use pure nitrogen. Gas should be delivered through a two-stage regulator capable of providing 16 to 18 psi (110 to 124 kPa).
Can I use my own computer with the LI-5300A or LI-5350A?
Each DIC system includes a computer that should be dedicated to the operation of the device. The computer should not be used for other purposes. Other computers may not work with the DIC system because they do not have the required libraries and applications to support the device.
We're sorry about that.
