Instrument Information
Note: All Users can view the status of instruments at a station.
Under the Stations view, (), click the Information button () for the station. Or, click the station name and then Station Information.
The Instruments Table presents a list of instruments at the site.
Click by an instrument to get diagnostic and status information for that instrument.
LI-7500RS and LI-7550 Status
- Hostname: The name of the instrument as it is identified by FluxSuite. Typically this is the serial number, unless it has been changed by a user.
- Posted at: The date and time of the most recent posting.
- Posting next at: The next scheduled posting from the instrument.
USB Status
- Status: The condition of the USB drive and data logging.
- Free: Amount of free space on the USB storage device.
- Size: The total capacity of the USB drive.
Status
- Sensor Head: Indicates either LI-7500A/RS or LI-7200/RS.
- CO2 Signal Strength: The signal strength received by the instrument (0 to 100%). Low signal strength indicates that the lenses should be cleaned.
- Methane Data Sync: If there is an LI-7700 Open Path CH4 Analyzer at the site, this indicates whether the data are synchronized.
- Detector Temperature Regulated: Indicates whether the optical detector is regulated as specified (yes/no).
- Chopper Temperature Regulated: Indicates whether the optical source and chopper housing temperature are regulated (yes/no).
- PLL: Phase Lock Loop. If not OK the instrument may need to be serviced.

- CO2 Signal Strength: The signal strength received by the instrument (0 to 100%). Low signal strength indicates that the lenses should be cleaned.
- Inlet Temperature OK: Indicates the status of the upper thermocouple. If not OK, replace the upper thermocouple.
- Outlet Temperature OK: Indicates the status of the lower thermocouple. If not OK, replace the lower thermocouple.
- Auxiliary Inputs OK: Indicates status of input signals.
- PLL: Phase Lock Loop. If not OK the instrument may need to be serviced.
- Head Pressure OK: Indicates the status of pressure measurements. Service required if not OK.
7200-101 Flow Module
Flow Module
- Flow Setting (slmp): Indicates the software setting in Standard Liters Per Minute.
- Measured Flow (lpm): Actual flow in Liters Per Minute.
- Measured Flow (slpm): Actual flow in Standard Liters Per Minute.
- Motor Drive (%): The power consumed by the motor (percent of maximum). A high percent may indicate that the filter or inlet needs to be cleaned.
- Pressure Drop (kPa): The pressure reduction resulting from the flow. A high pressure drop indicates that the filter or inlet needs to be cleaned.
7200-050 or 7200-040 Heated Intake Tube
Heated Intake Tube
- Status: Indicates if the heated intake tube is on or off.
- Power Setting (W): Indicates the setting that is configured through the gas analyzer software.0
- Actual Power Applied (W): Indicates the power delivered to the heated intake tube.
- Voltage In (V): The voltage measured by the heated intake tube circuitry. Typically this is the same as the system voltage.
LI-7700 Status
- Hostname: The name of the instrument as it is identified by FluxSuite. Typically this is the serial number, unless it has been changed by a user.
- Signal Strength (RSSI): The Residual Signal Strength Indicator (%).
- Instrument Ready: Indicates that the instrument is powered on and operating as expected.
- Reference Line Locked: Indicates that the instrument is measure a methane gas absorbtion feature. If not locked, you may need to reboot the analyzer or initiate the line lock algorithm.
- Signal OK: Yes if above the signal strength threshold. No if below the threshold, indicating the mirrors may need to be cleaned.
- Spin RPM Target OK: A diagnostic indicating whether the spin motor reaches the target speed.
- Block Temperature Regulated: Yes nominally. If no, service may be required.
- Laser Temperature Regulated: Yes nominally. If no, service may be required.
- Open Path Thermocouple OK: Yes nominally. If No, the thermocouple may need to be replaced.
- Spin Motor: Indicates whether the spin motor was running when the update was submitted.
- Washer Pump: Indicates whether the washer motor was running when the update was submitted.
- Lower Mirror Heater: Indicates the on/off status of the lower mirror heater.
- Upper Mirror Heater: Indicates the on/off status of the lower mirror heater.
- Auxiliary Thermocouple 3, 2, or 1: Indicates whether the thermocouple is working, if they are installed.
