The LI-600 Porometer/Fluorometer is designed for measurements of stomatal conductance and chlorophyll a fluorescence from a leaf in ambient conditions. In contrast, the LI-6800 Portable Photosynthesis System measures parameters in controlled conditions, including CO2 response, light response, and high-frequency chlorophyll a fluorescence.
By combining the fast survey measurements from the LI-600 with detailed data from the LI-6800, you can record larger, more informative data sets while saving time.
In this webinar, Jason Hupp, Sr. Field Application Scientist, highlights these complementary applications. He describes two case studies: one that used the LI-600 to quickly screen a large population of wild pepper accessions to identify individuals for detailed measurements with the LI-6800, and another in which the LI-600 was used to improve the accuracy of data from the LI-6800 in an outdoor hemp crop.
