December 19, 2006, Lincoln Nebraska: LI-COR Biosciences announces a new Infrared Fluorescent Products Guide
that details a major expansion of reagent products including infrared-labeled secondary antibodies, protein labeling kits, Western blotting kits, In-Cell Western™ assay kits, Western blotting buffers, and protein stains.
New IRDye®-conjugated secondary antibodies include Donkey anti-Mouse, Donkey anti-Goat and Donkey anti-Rabbit. All antibodies are cross-adsorbed for multiplex detection and provide high specificity.
“We are pleased to expand our line of high quality infrared-dye labeled secondary antibodies. Our customers can have confidence in the quality of our infrared antibodies as they are designed and tested specifically for use with the LI-COR Odyssey® and Aerius® imaging systems,” says Neeraj Asundi, LI-COR product marketing manager.
“Our new IRDye® 800CW protein labeling kits provide researchers an excellent way to label their own antibodies and other proteins,” says Jeff Harford, LI-COR product marketing manager. “IRDye 800CW labeled proteins and antibodies are well suited for Western Blots, In-Cell Western™ Assays, and molecular imaging research.”
Western blotting and In-Cell Western™ assay kits offer the convenience of buying reagents and related products in kit form. Western blotting kits include enough secondary antibodies, blocking buffer and membranes for 10 quantitative Western blots. In-Cell Western kits include protein stains (for normalization) for forty 96-well plates.
